Conrad Booker is a designer/artist that I see every morning when I get my coffee from Kelsey and Chloe over at Red Hook. Over the past few years, we've become friendly for five to ten minutes per day. He and another artist, Adam Cohen, are there every morning - they're the Statler and Waldorf of the coffee shop.
Last month Conrad had a show at Red Hook, and I got to see a bunch of his creations. He's got tons of pillows, lighting, paintings, amazing hand-cut paper butterflies in shadow-boxes, planters made from old books…and a ton of other pieces. He's posting his art on a few websites, and needed some new photos so we had a shoot earlier this week.
I'm really psyched how well the shots turned out, and my studio was the prefect setting for his pieces. His stuff will be posted on the Three Sisters Marketplace by the end of the week, so check it out when you get a moment.
